Who writes this shit Part 2
I see that they have made some corrections. I still don't understand how the mini run sign up for fall can last for only one day, and start on Friday instead of Monday July 13th.

We are heading into a crunch time with the election. Now is the time we need to rally together and show your support. I would like to get as many volunteers and helpers that I can get. Here are a few ideas:
If you have any other ideas please feel free to send them to me. Nominations on on Monday, May 11th and Ballots are to mailed out around the 15th. So we are getting down to crunch time with this election. Ballots need to be received by the 5th of June so they should be in the mail by June 1st to be sure they are counted.
I am looking other opportunities to visit Light Rail, Street Car and Maintenance at all properties. Please me with any ideas.
- On Friday, May 8th I will be hosting a campaign party at Round Table in Vancouver at 6pm. Email for details. I will be in Accident Reviews during the day. If anyone is interested in campaigning for me. Please email me and I will get you some material.
- Over the weekend I will be visiting Light Rail and Street car properties. If you would like to join me please email me for details on time and days.
- On Monday, May 11th as many supporters that can attend the charter meeting at 7:30pm at the Salvation Army Rose center on 18th and Sandy in Portland. Please come and show your support for me when nominations are made.
- On Tuesday, May 12th as many supporters that can attend the charter meeting at 10am at the union office at 1801 NE Couch st in Portland.
- After the meeting, anyone that can be at some transit centers. Let us know and we will partner people up. Bruce will be in Salem all day on that day if anyone would like to ride along please send an email. It will be a full day in Salem.
- On Wednesday, May 13th I will be in Accident Appeals meetings but, if there is anyone that would like to go to various transit centers or other places please let me know.
- On Thursday, May 14th I will be in Southern Oregon and then at the Corvallis meeting at 7:45pm. Again if anyone would like to go to various Transit centers or garages please let me know.
- On Friday, May 15th I will be meeting with anyone that wants to join me at Jantzen Beach at 10am at the Transit Center. I will then be at Clackamas Town Center at 5pm.
- I will be attending the Tillamook meeting on Sunday at 1:00pm and then the CTran at 7:00 pm. If anyone would like to attend either of these meetings please let me know.

SEATTLE LURCHES AHEAD
King County Metro Transit showed off a new RapidRide bus Monday morning. The arrival of a $13.8 million grant from the Federal Transit Administration will help Metro acquire 16 hybrid-electric buses and make shelter and station improvements for the first route in 2010. Who writes this shit
How can the operator pick dates for the summer sign up take place in August?
Fall signup for mini run operators should start on July 13 and finish on the 17th, not take place on one day, July 17th.
Last time I checked, Labor Day does not fall on July 4. This year it will be on Sept. 7, always on the first Monday in September.
At least they got the correct date for the 4th of July.
Did I miss anything?

LETTER SENT TO MERLO MANAGERS
I sent this e-mail to all three Merlo managers because I am not sure which one to actually talk to. I get memo's, letters, and conversations from all three.

Greetings Ruth, Gregory, Greg;
Bob Crouley showed me a memo whereby he was advised that the respectful workplace class was canceled.
He further advised me that I would also be receiving said memo.
When I came in from my run on Friday there was no mail for me.
Be advised that I would prefer NOT to attend this meeting as it will play havoc on my personal schedule.
However, I have taken it upon myself to review HR-171 respectful workplace regulations.

I had an informal meeting with Josh Collins, communications director, and asked him the following question.
"If a schmuck like me can make hundreds of video productions in my spare time as a hobby, why is it that the TRIMET training department can't put these training seminars onto video so that people can view them as time allows?"
