Big Bird 1969-2006

SESAME STREET (CAP) - The first high profile casualty of the Avian Flu passed away this weekend at his nest at 123 Sesame Street, surrounded by friends and family. Big Bird was 37.
Sesame Street spokesthing Mr.Snuffleupagus confirmed what many pundits had suspected for months, as Big Bird's public appearances became less and less frequent.

For Tuesday morning, October 13, 4 of 16 WES trips will be served by shuttle buses. Additional maintenance work is still needed for one of the trains.
The trips departing the Wilsonville Station at 6:21 and 7:51 a.m. and the trips departing the Beaverton Transit Center at 6:58 and 8:28 a.m. will be provided by shuttle buses. Riders can take the shuttle, ride the local bus or take the next WES train, and should add up to 30 minutes to their commute.
WES service is expected to return to regular service on Tuesday afternoon, October 13.

WES DEBACLE
For Monday morning, October 12, 4 of 16 WES trips will be served by shuttle buses. Additional maintenance work is needed for one of the trains.
The trips departing the Wilsonville Station at 6:19 and 7:49 a.m. and the trips departing the Beaverton Transit Center at 6:56 and 8:26 a.m. will be provided by shuttle buses. Riders can take the shuttle, ride the local bus or take the next WES train, and should add up to 30 minutes to their commute.
Afternoon WES service may also be affected. Service updates and trip planning is available on trimet.org or call 503-238-RIDE (7433) weekdays between 7:30 a.m.—5:30 p.m.
