PISSED RIGHT WING BLOGGER AT TRIBUNE BLASTS MY BUS DRIVER PROFESSION!
Re: Merkley says victory is part of ‘transformational change’
Yes, Al, because the behavior of the left over the last few years has been above reproach. The decency and civility they have shown has been heartwarming for all to see. Your dedication to the idea that GWB was the president for all of us and as such deserving of a certain amount of respect has been a monument to fairness and even-handed thought the likes of which most could only dream of.
Now get back on your Trimet Bus and pretend to matter in your snazzy uniform. When you have a minute, look up: "Useless public employee teat sucker".
Way to accomplish great things in life, Al. Really.Bus driver.
Gosh golly all fishhooks, it gives me goosebumps to just say the words. I felt a tingle run up my leg."Apparently the civil service test doesn't have an IQ section.AND MY RESPONSE:
"""Now get back on your Trimet Bus and pretend to matter in your snazzy uniform.

Bus driver."""
That one gave me a good laugh! THANKS FOR THAT! A good laugh is always welcome! If you need to attempt to demean me then it's ok,
to quote one of my favorites:I FEEL YOUR PAIN!
"Apparently the civil service test doesn't have an IQ section."YES SIR, I FEEL YOUR PAIN!
LOL!!!LOL!!!LOL!!!LOL!!!Now hit me again with some more of your childish emotional outbursts!

ROAD SUPERVISOR FRYE ATTEMPTS ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR MINI RUNNERS-posts in reverse order, from TRINET mail
Passing through a vote of the full time membership which holds a 4:1 advantage over part time membership is another matter.
Unfortunately, "mini runners" (a very disrespectful job title, imo) are in actuality, discriminated against by full time operators.
You hear many of the same complaints about them that are heard about minorities in the general population;
ie: "they are taking away our work" etc.
However, I personally support the concept.
Al M (career "mini runner")

Thank you Jon,
Is there a proposal on the table for this coming contract? if not, can we determine if there is a real interest in adding something like this, and if so, can we include it?
Thanks again,
jay Frye

Jay, this would have to be done during contract negotiation and then ratified by the membership. Jon

Can anyone in this group tell me if there is currently or if there will be in the near future a conversation about mini-runners being able to use their accumulated time to qualify them to apply for some of these career advancement opportunities. Many, otherwise well qualified operators feel they are being penalized for their decision to remain part time.
Please reply to all. Thank you for your time.

Field Operations Supervisor.

Report: Palin To Put McCain In Nursing Home

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (CAP) - In what may be the final, crushing blow to the June-December waltz of John McCain and Sarah Palin, CAP sources have learned that, if elected, the Alaska governor plans to immediately have the 72-year-old Arizona senator put in a nursing home and assume the powers of the presidency herself.
"It would be quick," said a Palin spokesman, who doubles as her personal shopper in New York City. "With her plans, it would make William Henry Harrison look like a presidential lifer."

McCain's Final Strategy: Don't Forget He's Black

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (CAP) - In what is being seen in political circles as a desperate attempt to close the gap in the day before the election, the McCain/Palin Campaign has scrounged up all the remaining loose change it could from bottle returns and under the sofabed for a final ad blitz attacking Barack Obama in the one way it hopes will still resonate with American voters.
That he's black.
