Here they will vote: BRT or LRV!
Of the two mode choices being considered, there are several reasons why LRT may be the more preferred of the two alternatives.“Light rail vehicles hold more passengers, appeal to ‘choice riders’ and are easier to go on and off for riders with disabilities,”

This comes as a new study finds that nearly 45,000 Americans die every year due to lack of health insurance. Post for my Facebook page!
Some of you know that me and another Trimet bus driver have been feuding quite publicly lately. Well its making all of us look bad so I have unilaterally decided to pull all posts related to the other operator and will no longer engage in any sort of dialog with this particular operator. What the other operator does is entirely up to them. Sorry for dragging this community into such a petty insignificant squabble such as the one we were having.

GOP HAS THE ANSWER TO HEALTH CARE CRISIS
WASHINGTON (CAP) - Eager to recapture the edge in its ongoing battle with the administration over health care reform, congressional Republicans have unveiled their own version of the so-called public option that they claim will save money and provide instant relief to millions of uninsured Americans.
"We call it Let Us Help Us, and we think it will revolutionize the way we seek health care in this country," Sen. Kit Bond (R-MO), one of the initiative's authors, told reports at a press conference today. "It embraces the essence of the free market system, without the oppressive hand of government regulation. No socialism! And the beauty is: anyone can be a part of it. Anyone can submit an ailment to be bid on."
