hell-lo, portland...im off duty, fred insisting i spend more time with the family thurs, fri, giving me a 5 day retrieve, PAID, what a guy!! although the ticket machines dont work to collect fares, drivers are asked to not push the collecting of fares, fare inspectors..the same, they are getting behind on our benefits and pension accounts, light rail costs are up, security issues are becoming bad again, and they may have to hold off buying new buses,nevertheless, the cedar mill shuttle is getting a upgraded interior, and they are paying an extra-board overtime to cover my time off,sometimes i dont understand fred!!! i guess ill have to re-read that book at the FRED HANSEN MEMORIAL DRIVERS ROOM AT SUNSET TRANSIT CENTER. BC
hey now...im back at the helm holding down things here at the best place in trimetland THE ONE AND ONLY ' FRED HANSEN SUNSET TRANSIT CENTER ' ITS THE LAST DAY OF OUR SIGNUP BUT NO PARTY SINCE ALL ARE WANTING TO STAY... most drivers r camera shy (my camera is huge) so no new interviews...this just in though, from sue,head station agent, MERLO CONTINUES TO CUT BUSSESS!!! FRED WILL NOT SEND, PAY FOR, ENOUGH DRIVERS TO HANDLE THE ESTABLISHED BUS ROUTES HE BRAGS ABOUT!!! WHY??? ISNT THAT LIKE LYING TO THE PUBLIC OR 2 FACED?? THERE IS 2 SIDES TO EVERY STORY, SO WHY FRED??? SUE SAYS CENTER ST. GETS 9 DRIVERS THERE, POWELL GETS 3,OR 4, BUT MERLO GETS ONLY 1 OR MAYBE 2!! SUE IS CUTTING OUT BUS LINES LEFT AND RIGHT AND FEELS VERY UPSET AT DOING THIS TO OUR CUSTOMERS!!!! POOR SUE, POOR TRIMET RIDERS FOR NO BUS WILL COME AS PROMISED...IS LIGHT RAIL SUCKING THAT MUCH OUT OF US????? ASK FRED HE ALWAYS SAYS HE WANTS TO HEAR FROM U, HE WONT TALK TO ME MUCH ANYMORE, EVEN THOUGH I WENT TO GREAT TIME AND EXPENSE TO GIVE HIM SOME GIFTS THE OTHER DAY.....NOT EVEN A THANK-YOU!!! WELL HES A VERY BUSY GUY, WE'LL JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT, IM SURE HE'LL GET TO IT.
