OUR SYSTEM IS VULNERABLE AS HELL!
PORTLAND - Trimet Transit Police were asked to investigate after crews making repairs to a damaged MAX line at the Skidmore Fountain Station reported that the problem may have been human caused.MAX service was disrupted for several hours Saturday morning after the pantograph arm that reaches from a train to the overhead power wire became tangled with a sagging feeder wire.According to Trimet officials, the feeder wire is usually housed in conduit, attached to the ground and extends several feet above the overhead catenary system beneath the Burnside Bridge.Riders were shuttled by bus between the Rose Quarter and Pioneer Square during the service outage.Crews were able to repair the line and full service was restored by 11 a.m
THANK GOD FOR BUS SERVICE AROUND HERE

LIVE REPORT FROM A HIGHLY DECORATED DRIVER
THE PORTLAND MERCURY IS LOOKING FOR STORIES!
I'm looking for suggestions about the Portland area's most interesting bus
routes. Where have you seen the most diversity? The most interesting characters?
The sketchiest riders? The most easy-going riders? The most stressed-out riders?
What makes for a good day driving the bus? What about the most dangerous routes?
What are your biggest pet-peeves about riders?
I'd be happy to talk to anyone who has any thoughts on these questions. You can
reply to this message, email me, or give me a call.
Thanks,
Sean Breslin

AND THE FINAL COMMUNICATION FROM THE OTHER "TRINET":
Thanks Al! You’re a good guy!
Much appreciated, and good luck with your issues.
Phelps, Carolyn
GOOGLE BLOG ALERT TRINET!!
http://en.wikip
MY TRINET HAS NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH THAT TRINET!
THE OTHER "TRINET" REALLY BELIEVES IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WANTS TO HELP ME!
Hello-
"TRINET" is the employee on line services for those of us that work at TRIMET, the transit district in Portland Oregon.
I'm having trouble logging in to it.
Haha, what else can I tell you?
Al M
To which they replied:
I’d like to get someone to help you out with this. Have you contacted support?
Carolyn
To which I just replied:
Well I certainly appreciate this but my TRINET is not your TRINET.
My TRINET is actually the PORTLAND TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT, they just call their employee computer service "TRINET".
I have to deal with them on this issue, but thanks very much for the offer!
Al M
Portland Oregon
TO WHICH THEY REPLIED:
Have you tried deleting cookies on your computer(s)? I’ve had this problem before with logins/passwords and sometimes that works. Also restart your machine after deleting cookies. Just a thought!
Oh – ok! That makes sense now. I couldn’t find you listed as a customer anywhere. Would you mind mentioning in your blog that it is not TriNet the company that you are having issues with? We’d certainly appreciate it and it would alleviate any confusion.
Good luck.
THEN I REPLIED:
Yea I did all the cookie clearing and cashe cleaning, it specific to this one ISP apparently.
THANKS AGAIN!
And I did post that my TRINET has nothing to do with your TRINET,
THANKS!
